Herman E. Fox, 74, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Dec 27, 2010 at Parkview Hospital. Born Aug 24, 1936 in Berne, he was the son of the late Milo and Mary Fuchs. He was a registered CPA, had owned and operated the Dairy Queen at the corner of Clinton St. and Washington Center Road, retiring in 2004. He was previously head controller at Industra Products, Fort Wayne and had been an accountant at Peter Eckrich & Sons. Surviving are his daughter, Rhonda (Ken) Walsh of Rochester, NY; son, Jeffrey Fox of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Stacey Fox, Amy Walsh, Jamie Fox, Joseph Walsh and Rachael Walsh; sister Dolores Harvey of Bluffton; and brother, Delbert Fuchs of Berne. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Irene Burkholder; and brother, Ivan Fuchs. Funeral service is 10:30am Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Visitation is from 4 to 8 pm Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana of the American Heart Association.
