James Lee Prosser, AKA “Puddin”, 62, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on September 1, 2021. Born on August 14, 1959, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late James Lee Prosser Sr., and Mary Lee Gladney-Prosser.
James gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was married to the late Jewel (Hoagland) Prosser. He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Wayne. In his younger years, James was a member of the Youth Usher Board (Bright Green Jackets). He worked for Fort Wayne Pools, Tokheim, and several other jobs, until his health started failing him. Puddin loved to joke about everything, you would just have to know him, and he loved to battle it out with his two nephews. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, music, camping, skating, traveling with friends, dominos, and flirting with the women, but most of all he loved his family, friends, and the Lord. Yet, most of all, James loved saying “What da Problem Is” and “Good Night”, you could expect that from him, day or night.
He leaves to cherish many loving and fond memories, his son, Phillip J Harris, of Fort Wayne; God-son, Larry “Pie” Thomas II, of Fort Wayne; siblings, Adell Gladney, of Las Vegas, Gloria Dies, of Fort Wayne, Jeffrey “Gump” (Charlene) Prosser, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Sypaira Cooper, Kimberly Baron, Tina & Alana Donaldson, Kamareya & Larasha Rodgers, Gabriel Thomas, and Jaheim Moris; favorite niece, Shiquillia Gladney; nieces, Javell Prosser, and Janell Prosser; nephews, Michael Lamonte, and Dwayne Dies; as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends; and special friend, Annette Clem. Along with his parents, James Lee Prosser Sr., and Mary Lee Gladney-Prosser; and wife, Jewel (Hoagland) Prosser; he was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Marie Annette Prosser; granddaughter, Cierra Thomas; nephew, Christer L.
