

JEFFRY DUANE ZOLNOSKY, 60, of Fort Wayne, went to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, after bravely battling an illness of over 10 years. Born on Aug. 5, 1952, in Webster City, Iowa, he graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1970. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years as an instrumentman on a submarine tender. He was employed as a copier technician for over 30 years. He was a long time member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church. He loved refurbishing street rods and classics and enjoyed attending car shows with his wife and "Car Gang". Survivors include his wife, Sandy; father and stepmother, Richard and Dolores Zolnosky of Norfolk, Neb.; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Rodney Walker of Des Moines, Iowa; mother-in-law, Mildred Nicodemus of Bradenton, Fla.; "daughter and son-in-law" by love, Jennifer and Troy Emery of Bryant, Ind.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gordon and Nancy Lewis of Leo, Ind.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Sally Nicodemus of Columbus, Ind.; two "grandchildren" by love; 19 nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Zolnosky. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, 10145 Maysville Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.
