JEROME N. McKIBBEN, 78, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at his residence. Born Dec. 18,1934, in Beloit, Wis., he was a son of the late Ira and Constance McKibben. He retired in 1992 from Magnavox after 30 years as an electrical production engineer. Surviving are his daughter, Anita Doctor; sons, Dr. Jerome N. McKibben II and Perry L. McKibben; grandchildren, Jamie Thompson, Shawna Niederman, Sarah Keller, Emma Meyer, Andrew and Daniel Doctor, and Jerome McKibben III; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Bryant of Poolville, Texas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Ann, in 2002; son, Shawn McKibben; daughter, Connie McKibben-Meyer; brother, Andrew McKibben; and sister, Barbara McKibben-Thomas. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2013, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Private graveside service will be held at a later date in Roscoe Cemetery, Roscoe, Ill.
