JOSEPHINE L. TABER, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehab. Born Nov. 17, 1919, in Momence Ill., she retired from Anthony Wayne Bank in 1986, after 22 years of service. She was a member of Brookside Community Church and a 50+ year member of Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority (Delta Rho Chapter). Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Raymond F. Taber; daughter, Regina (John) Knuth of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Chris, Chrissy, Phill, Amanda and Jessica; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Taber. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Pastor Phill Knuth officiating. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Brookside Community Church.
