Joyce Ann Jones, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 surrounded by her family at Lutheran Hospital. Born November 18, 1948 in Decatur, IN, she was a daughter of Gordon and Laura Railing.

Joyce was a woman full of life and faith -- a very strong believer in our Lord and Savior. Early on, Joyce was an avid golfer and enjoyed square dancing. She loved cooking, playing bingo, karaoke, and watching Colt’s football with her husband. She was convinced a simple coughdrop was the cure-all for any ailment. She loved being with family and was the first to arrive at every gathering. Joyce was never afraid to tell it how it was, and people admired her for that. She was loving, caring, witty, selfless, but above all, she was strong. Joyce is survived by her husband, Paul Jones; Mother, Laura Railing; and sister, Pat Brandt; daughter, Lori Anthony; son, Eric (Lori) Stephens; step-daughter, Gretchen Winebrenner; grandchildren, Nikkole, McKenna, and Andrew; step-grandchild, Addie; great-grandchildren, Londynn, and Carter. She is preceded in death by her father, Gordon Railing.

A service for Joyce will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:30 at Hockemeyer & Miller funeral home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
