

JUANITA EVELYN (FERRIER) SAMPSON, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at St. Anne Home & Retirement Community. Born on May 11, 1921, in Fort Wayne, she was a graduate of North Side High School and also worked as a Saleswoman at Patterson & Fletcher Dept. Store for many years. She is survived by daughter, Barbara (Roger) Robinette of Greenwood, S.C.; daughter-in-law, Sharon Sampson of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Berdina Stevens, Diana Edwards and Gloria Reidt all of Fort Wayne and Helen Niemeyer of Helmet, Calif.; and brother, Jack Ferrier of Coldwater, Mich. She was preceded in death by mother, Clara (Speck) Ferrier; husband, Carl Sampson; son, Gary Sampson; and brother, Floyd Ferrier. Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Rev. Greg Stevens officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
