He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on August 13, 1954, a son of the late Charlie Will Freeman, and Glennie Freeman, who survives.
Larry enjoyed being a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Glennie Freeman; siblings, Charles "Sonny" Freeman, Terrell (Rhea) Freeman; uncles, Rufus (Caroline) Freeman and Sam (Birda) Freeman; he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Will Freeman; brother, Charlie Freeman Jr.; grandparents, Willie Mae Norwood, Robert and Emma Freeman.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46835.
Burial will take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Ft. Wayne, IN.
