Lawrence W. Braun, 97, of Fort Wayne, died Feb. 16, 2011 at Kingston Care Center. Born in Fort Wayne, he retired in 1978 from Tokheim after 38 years of service. He was an Army W.W.II veteran, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 47 and a D.A.V. He is survived by his wife, Ina; daughter, Jeanne (Norbert) Cluts of Fort Wayne; stepchildren, Cheryl (Whitney) Smith of Jackson, GA and Kenneth (Susan) Sigler of Hickory, NC; six stepgranchildren and nine step greatgranchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, LaVern, in 1983; parents, Willilam and Louise(Meyer) Braun and brother, Elmer Braun. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday Feb. 21, 2011 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
