LILLIAN H. MITCHELL, 98, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 8, 2011, at Regency Place of Fort Wayne. Born August 7, 1912, in Hammond, Ind., she retired as the manager of human resources at Edward C. Monas Company in Hammond. She volunteered her services at Parkview Hospital and Canterbury Nursing Home. She is survived by son, Howard (Joan) Kepler of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Theodore, Karyn, Steven and Michael Kepler; great-grandson, Mitchell Kepler; sister, Dorothy Haack of Winamac, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm; he died in 1971. Memorial Service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., with visitation one hour prior to service. Private burial in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schereville, Ind. Memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation.
