Lois M. Thornburg Weeks

LOIS M. WEEKS, 90, of Elkhart, formerly of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at East Lake Nursing & Rehab Center, Elkhart. She was born on April 20, 1922, in Hicksville, Ohio. She had been a secretary at General Electric, Fort Wayne for nearly 30 years. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church or GE Quarter Century Club. Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Rickey of Elkhart; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, in 1996; son, Larry Ross Weeks, in 2006; one sister; and four brothers. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
