Lucile C. Bunt

Lucile C Reinking Bunt, 98, died Nov 6, 2015 at Lutheran Life Villages. She was born Oct. 4, 1917.She was married to Benjamin Bunt (now deceased) from 1945 to 1993 and was his business partner in the home construction business and in the development of residential communities including Crown Colony, the Hollows, and Run Away Bay at Lake Wawasee. They also built and owned Casselwood Apartments.She served as president of the Home Builders Assoc. Women’s Auxiliary of Ft. Wayne, and in that role raised funds for major renovation of a facility for Turnstone, and later served on their Board. She has been an avid volunteer, assisting many organizations such as the Study Connection, March of Dimes and the Volunteer Center at RSVP.

Above all, she loved her children and cherished time with them, extended family and friends. She is survived by daughters Jane (Rick Stoerker) McGraw, Vicki (Jim) Lauer, Kathren Bunt, Nancy (Jon) Alter; son Benjamin A. Bunt; grandchildren Christopher Hanson, Alexandra (Sean) Yorko, Joshua (Jacki) Alter, Cassandra (Joe) Reichard, Krista (John) Forsythe, Robert Alter and six great grandchildren; sister Marcella Kelble; brothers Norm Reinking and Wilbert Reinking; and brother-in-law Art (Gail) Bunt, whom she helped raise. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Bunt, and brothers Alvin Reinking and Lester Reinking.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Tuesday November 10, with calling one hour prior at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, 46815. Calling will also be held from 4 to 7 pm, Monday November 9, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Rd., Ft Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery of Ft Wayne.
