Marcia E. "Marcy" Coon

MARCIA "MARCY" COON, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 1, 1944, in Clearfield, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Esther (Beauseigneur) Shifter. "Marcy was a homemaker who deeply loved and cared for her family; she will be greatly missed." Marcy also enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and decorating her home while keeping up with the latest interior design trends. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth E. Coon of Fort Wayne; daughter, Holly (Rick) Maggart of Fort Wayne; son, Todd (Christina) Coon of Phoenix, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and sister, Marjorie (James) Penix of Detroit, Mich. She was also preceded in death by her son, Stacey Coon; and two brothers. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
