Margo obtained her teaching degree from IPFW, she also obtained Master's degrees from Full Sail University and Nova Southeastern University.
Margo spent most of her working years at Perfection Bakeries where she retired from after 26 years. She taught at Chain o Lakes Correctional Facility as well as East Allen County Schools.
She enjoyed camping in Ludington State Park and spending weekends at the lake cottage with her family. Margo will be remembered for making Christmas stockings for her grandchildren.
She was a very involved member of Woodburn United Methodist Church where she helped with the food bank, the Christmas Eve service and anywhere she was needed.
Margo loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, John Tester, Jennifer Tester, Jeannie (Jeremy) Love, Jason (Erica) Tester, James (Tessa) Tester; grandchildren, Kaytlen (Mark), Michael, Annaliese, Serrah, Aiden, Arabella, Parker, Sofia, and Addyson; great-grandson, Felix; siblings, Richard (LuAnn), James (Penny), Susan Pierce, and Walter (Patsy) Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Sr. and Marjorie; and sister, Sandra Hobbs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 12 pm to 4 pm, at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46835.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025 with calling 1 hour prior, also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodburn United Methodist Church or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
