Marjorie Lynn Fear-Elliott

Marjorie Lynn Fear-Elliott, 62, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully at her home, with her husband by her side on September 1, 2021. Born on February 17, 1959, in Kankakee, IL, she was a daughter of the late Roy Delbert and Hope (nee Davis) Zelhart. On January 1, 2018, she married James Elliott in Winterville, NC.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, James Elliott; son, Jeff (Amanda) Hays of Reddick, IL; daughter, Kourtney (Stephen) Payton of Winterville, NC; daughter, Kristina Elliott of Greenville, NC; grandchildren Kevin Payton, Cameron Bentz, Ciera Hays, Tyler Elliott, Elijah Payton, Cylar Hays, and Celina Hays; sisters Patricia (Dale) Gray of Peru, IN, Pamela (Dave) Wolford of Kankakee, IL, and Anna Kane of Bourbonnais, IL; brothers Laurance (Roxanne) Zelhart of Bourbonnais, IL, and Roy (Georgie) Zelhart of Bonfield, IL; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceeded in death by her son, Christopher Hays; and her parents, Hope and Roy Zelhart.

Marjorie was a retired over the road truck driver of 13 years, where she met the love of her life, James Elliott. She recieved her 1 million mile safe driving award before retirement. She enjoyed time with her husband and her cat Brat in the truck exploring the country. When she retired, Marjorie enjoyed her LulaRoe business, where she was able to help other women feel beautiful in their clothing. She adopted two kittens, Ozmo and Sierra, that she loved and spent time with. She also enjoyed playing and hosting online card games. Marjorie never met a stranger and enjoyed making new friends through gaming and her business. She enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her children and grandchildren and spending time with family.
