MARTHA B. WRIGHT, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at The Cedars. Born Feb. 20, 1933, in Huntertown, she was the daughter of the late George and Tressa Aikins. She retired as a computer programmer at Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. She was a member of Fort Wayne Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Sheryl Sabo of Lafayette,, Ind., Denise (Joe) Jensen of Fayette, Ohio, Jacqueline (Jeff) Smith and Diana Wright, both of Fort Wayne, and Christina Wright of Valdosta, Ga.; son, John R. Wright Jr. of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Moscher of Fort Wayne; and brother, Loris Aikins of Springfield, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John R. Wright Sr., in 1994; sister, Alvera Dekker; and brother, Gale Aikins. Memorial service is 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Fort Wayne Baptist Church, 2323 Fairfield Avenue. Private burial in Marion National Cemetery, Marion.
