McKinzee Henry Hicks

McKinzee Henry Hicks, 19, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Born on April 23, 2002, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Velma Louise Hicks-Banks, and Guadalupe “Booney” Banks, who survives. McKinzee was a faithful servant of God. He was energetic, bright, and deeply passionate. McKinzee inspired all of us with his determination, his bright attitude, and strong passion. He enjoyed art, and was in the pursuit of creating the first plant powered engine, and opening his own custom made art business. McKinzee was a fighter, a revolutionary, creating his own ideas, being kind, brave, and pursuing what he loves. In addition to his father, he is also survived by his twin brother, Matthew Hicks; siblings, Royal Jordan III, Donte’ (Chaunice) Jordan, Shalonda Banks, Jackie Hicks, Stephany Hicks, and Krystal Hicks. He was also preceded in death by his aunt's, uncle's, and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior.
