He is survived by his wife, Judith (Hartman); sons, Doug, Marty (Penny) and Bradley (Monica) Amburgey; daughter, Melanie Timothy; grandchildren, Lauren Amburgey, CJ Field and Gunnar Cox; sisters, Olga Combs and Delphenia (Vernon) Mullins; sister-in-law, Imalee Amburgey. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Remis, Emil, Lloyd, Revil, Hobart and Ivis Amburgey.
A celebration of Orbin’s life will be 1pm Wednesday, August 5, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Tuesday August 4, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Alzheimers research in honor of his wife, Judith.
