Pamela Rose Simmons

Pamela Rose Simmons, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born on January 27, 1956, in Gary, she was a daughter of the late Lucious Simmons, and Lillie Simmons, who survives. Pamela was raised in the Baptist Faith and was a very smart girl who taught herself to read, write, and tell time all by herself. She is also survived by her family and friends at Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana, Easter Seals Passages of Columbia City; siblings, Toni Acoff, Brenda Shephard, Linda Hunter, Gary Simmons, Lucious Simmons, and Reginald Brown. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Janet Simmons. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling 30 minutes prior to service. Interment will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Memorial donations may be given to Easter Seal Passages of Columbia City.
