Patricia Sue "Pat" Bengs Ansberry

Patricia Sue "Pat" Bengs Ansberry, 79, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1947, in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Hambrock) Walton. She graduated from South Side High School, Fort Wayne. She worked as an office manager at Chris Stauffer Homes as well as Comfort Keepers. She also helped as a teachers aide for Fort Wayne Community Schools. She was a long time member at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She will be remembered as a person that enjoyed helping people, even serving in the Stephen Ministry at church. Pat also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking.

Surviving family include her husband, Gary Ansberry; sons, Alan (Juliana) Bengs and Andy (Alisa) Bengs; five grandchildren and three step grandchildren; sister, Sandy (Randall) Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was preceded in passing by her sister and brother-in-law, Ann (Roger) Brandenberg; two half sisters; and two nephews, Dennis and Dean Brandenberg.

A memorial service honoring Pat's life will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6606 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 3:00 pm, and Pastor Richard L.
