Patricia L. "Pat" Ellison, 87, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Patricia was born September 17, 1934 in Richmond, Indiana. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family, and later worked part time as a host at the Grand Wayne Center for 34 years. She was a long time member at Messiah Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. In her free time, she enjoyed her flower garden and being with her family. Surviving family include her husband, Richard Ellison; children, Julie Williams and Jon (Brenda) Ellison; grandchildren, Leah and Lauren Williams, Brittany Ellison, Kaitlyn (Soren) Powell, and Ryan Ellison; step-grandchildren, William (Katie) Reed and Elizabeth Reed. She was preceded in passing by her father, William Schuerman; mother, Iris (Wilt) Heeter; step-father, Kenneth Heeter; brother, William C. Schuerman; and son-in-law, Stewart Williams. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 7211 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Masks will be required for services. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
