Patricia Ann "Trish" Lucia Jefferies

Patricia Ann “Trish” Lucia Jefferies, 41, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 3, 2016. Trish was a Loving Free Spirit. She always brought a smile to everyone she met and knew. She served our country in the US Army. Her #1 treasure was her children Benjamin, Nickolas, Daniel, Christi Zollinger and her grandson, Roman Zollinger. She loved her wonderful fiancé, Shane Garvey unconditionally. Trish and her brother Christopher Jefferies spent many years together bonding. She knew whenever she needed him he would be by her side with open arms to help guide and comfort her. She was always close to her father and mother, Dave and Vic Jefferies. She would call and tell them of all her journeys and travels. Trish loved every minute of life. She loved camping, fishing, shopping and being with family and friends. Best of all Trish loved dragonflies; “which means prosperity, good luck, strength, peace and harmony” and the butterfly: “which transforms into something more beautiful and powerful than what it was”. That is what she would want everyone to remember her by.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Alma Schoeph; Jackie Jefferies. She leaves behind a fiancé Shane Garvey, three sons; Benjamin, Nickolas and Daniel and a daughter, Christi; her mother, Vic Jefferies; her father, Dave Jefferies and a brother, Chris (Myra) Jefferies.

Funeral service will be 10am Saturday March 12, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 3 to 7pm, Friday March 11, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
