Patricia Tucker

Patricia Ann Tucker, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. Born on August 10, 1943 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Betty (Boese) Bengs. A graduate of South Side High School, class of 1961, she was employed with Over Night Transportation for over 20 years, from which she retired. Pat’s passion and natural skill was decorating; she enjoyed reupholstering furniture, rearranging rooms, and decorating homemade cards for her family and friends. She attended Christ’s Church for over 30 years and most recently attended Brookside Church for over 10 years. Patricia was also a member of the Allen County Extension Homemakers Organization for several years. A kind-hearted spirit, she loved spending time with her family and was generous to others. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Tucker of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lisa (Gary) Schuster of Larwill; son, Todd (Sheri) Tucker of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, April (Ryan) Nelson of Fort Wayne, Josh (Kyra) Schuster of Fort Wayne; Jen (Dom) Baker of Leo, and Jess (Eric) Palumbo of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Aria, Alesia, Ava, Gianni, Myla, and Macy; siblings, Cindi Patterson, Linda (Jim) Fitch, Steve (Fran) Bengs, and Mark (Yvonne) Bengs, all of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and David Bengs; and brother-in-law, David Patterson. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Ind.
