Randy James Gantt

Randy James Gantt, 54, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. Born on July 17, 1961 in Conyers, GA, he was a son of the late James and Irene (Glaze) Gantt. Randy was a Limousine & Taxi Driver for several years with A-1 Limousine and Taxi Service and was also a member of Christ’s Church. Randy was an avid Colt’s fan and also enjoyed camping, crafting, swimming, Christmas, and watching Harry Potter movies. Randy was deep in his faith and enjoyed attending Christian concerts with his daughter. His family was most important in his life. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren with his whole heart and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine K. (McDowell) Gantt of Fort Wayne; daughter, Amanda Smith of Fort Wayne; sons, Steven (Regan) Horne of Fort Wayne, Jeremy (Diana) Horne of Fort Wayne, Brian Gantt of Acworth, GA, and Mark (Tiffany) Gantt of Acworth, GA; nine grandchildren; William Henney, Izaiah Henney, Madison Henney, Soshah Winslow, Karlegan Winslow, Elijah Horne, Elizabeth Horne, Landon Smith, and Logan Smith; one great-grandchild; Karson Hylton; and sister, Cathy Puckett of Acworth, GA. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Vicki. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
