Richard "Rick" M. Wedge

Richard “Rick” M. Wedge, 74, of Spencerville, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home. Born July 3, 1943, in Evansville, he was a son of the late Maurice and Ruth (Wahlberg) Wedge. An engineering graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Rick was the general manager and sales representative of Palmer Trucks for 48 years, from which he retired. Rick was a collector and enjoyed finding new things to add to his collection. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda “Linn” (Barnes) Wedge of Spencerville; children, John (Holly) Lemler of Fort Wayne and Shelly Lemler of Kangley, Ill.; two grandchildren, Cole and Mackenzie Lemler; brothers, Thomas “Tim” (Nina) Wedge of Fort Wayne and William “Bill” Wedge of Evansville. Funeral Service will be 4:00pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling three hours prior. Pastor Don Delagrange officiating.
