Robert proudly served his country in the US Navy, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his caregiver, Joseph Fuerte; sister, Barbara Jo Reynolds, of New Haven; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Deck and William Deck.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Thursday, March 25, 2021, at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, on Tuesday, March 23, and Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with a Knights of Columbus Service at 3:30pm, on Tuesday, March 23 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
