Robert G. "Bob" Webster, Jr., 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed peacefully away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on May 13, 1948, in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Robert George and Betty L. (Paul) Wesbter, Sr. He retired from the City of Fort Wayne Street Department after 42 years. He enjoyed going to casinos, all things Notre Dame, but he especially loved spending time with his family. Surviving family include his children, Andrea (Ken) Melchi, Jennifer (Matt) Jacobs, and Chris (Jennifer) Andrews; stepson, James "Eddie" Ingram; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Laureen Webster; son, Robert "Bobby"; sister, Sara; and brother, Kenneth. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
