Theresa Jane Stair, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 19, 2014 at her home. She was born to the late Fred and Paula Schneider on December 27, 1947 in Fort Wayne IN. She married Gary M. Stair on August 21, 1971. She graduated from Concordia High School and the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, later receiving her BSN from Indiana University. She worked many years for the East Allen County School District as a school nurse, retiring in 2011. She is survived by her husband Gary Stair; children Tim (Sarah) Stair and Laura (Andy) Gimbel and her grandchildren Hannah, Emily and Bella Stair and Miriam and Lila Gimbel. Funeral Service will be held at Saint Peters Lutheran Church 7710 E State Blvd
Fort Wayne, IN 46815 on Tuesday September 23, 2014. at 10:30 am with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be on Monday September 22, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Burial in the St. Peters Lutheran church cemetery.
