Thomas "Tom" L. Nevil, 69, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026. He was born on April 5, 1957, in Decatur, Indiana, and raised in Geneva, Indiana, a son of the late Kenneth and Sherry (Habegger) Nevil.
Tom graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College and spent his career operating his own ministry which included music, drama, and puppetry. Tom attended Pathway Community Church, Fort Wayne. He enjoyed singing, watching movies, and helping at church camps.
Surviving family includes his sister, Teresa Jackson; brother, Mark Nevil; and sister-in-law, Kay Steinbrook. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his older brother, Jim Nevil.
A funeral service celebrating Tom's life will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with a visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Tom's final resting place will be Westlawn Cemetery, rural Geneva, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Pathway Community Church.
