I am thankful to have met and loved such an amazing woman. Before I was officially family, I was family. The love you gave to me and each one of my children was beyond great! Your heart was so huge and showed love to everyone you came across. All of the talks. All of the support. All of the wisdom and knowledge you supplied will forever be in my heart. I love and miss you Aunt Velma. I wish I could be there on today. My love to each one of you family. Thank you Aunt Velma for being such a beautiful individual and a great role model. Love Mika!

Velma was a calm soul, she never let anything get the best of her or take that beautiful smile from her face. I remember as kids at Aunt tooties house we would play long and hard!! You gave it all your best cousin and fought the fight!! I will always think of you with a smile...take your rest now.... Praying for all the families peace and comfort!!!

The first time I met Velma, was the road trip to Kansas City to meet the extended family. I remember her beautiful smile. Her kind heart. Velma shared her story of how Good GOD is. She had shared with me that she had been through the battle and was blessed. I had that one encounter with her. That has left me with joy and peace. And she would light up as she's telling me her story. I know she's received her wings. I will continue to pray for her family. Love you guys.

My dear beautifully made cousin 💖my heart was broken when I heard you had transition to be with our Father God. But knowing first hand what you were going through I know it's best...to my dear cousins I pray that God wrap his arms gently around you. Remember she's gone in the physical but she's ALWAYS with you and her husband in the spirit...I love you and God does to.

Thank you Father God for my sister's life. This is truly a remarkable woman of God. My sister embraced me the moment we met. We always talked about traveling. The first time she came to Kansas City she promised there would be many more trips. The last trip was special. I was so happy to see her make it back for our annual UROC kickball tournament. Our family wore Team Jesus shirts. She wore hers with so much pride and she said It's all because of Him, Jesus got me. I will never forget her words that day and thereafter. Her faith was strong and she knew God's love for her. Rest well Diva. I love you always.
