Vicki Jayne (Hoskins) Shreve, 58, North Manchester, died Feb. 28, 2013, in Peabody, N.H. She was born June 15, 1954, in Anderson, the daughter of Reathel and Betty Hoskins. She was a teacher’s aide at Syracuse Elementary for 10 years, retiring in 1995. She was a Girl Scouts (Brownie) leader and the Peabody Church at the nursing home. Survivors include two daughters, Staci M. (Ron) Bashop of Columbia City, and Jennifer G. (Lee) Shreve of Claypool; brother, Michael Hoskins of Anderson; former husband, Dennis Shreve; and grandchildren, Brandon King, Amelia Bashop, Teagon Davis, Ashley Bashop, Megan Bashop and Tyler Monroe. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Peabody Retirement Community, 400 Seventh St., North Manchester, with the Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in North Manchester.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday. Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, IN.
