Reverend TSgt William A. Arnold, 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was born on April 2, 1935, in Jewell Ridge, Virginia. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and later continued to serve the country in crypto communications for an additional 20 years, retiring with 40 years of military service. He served as a Reverend in the ALJC Church. He was a Sampson Air Force Alumni. He proudly went on the Honor Flight with Northeast Indiana in 2022. In his free time, he enjoyed being on his HAMM radio. Art will be remembered for his devout faith and being involved in ministry along with his late wife, Beatrice, in the Apostolic Pentecostal Church for over 65 years. Surviving family include his children, Patricia Arnold-Stonestreet, Arthur Arnold, and MeLisa (Dan) Arnold-Brott; grandchildren, Angela Rochelle (Ron) Stonestreet-Frey, Danny Lynn (Karissa) Stonestreet, Rachelle DeAnn (Brock) Brott-Hanisch, MaKayla Danielle (Patrick) Brott-Overmire, Taylor William Brott, and Ethan Daniel Brott; great-grandchildren, MaKayla, Caleb, Jaidyn, Taylor, Tyler, Christopher, Danny Jr., KatyGrace, Xavier, Weston, Elaina, Freeman, Violet, Piper, Millie, and Henry; great-great-grandchildren, Blake and Brooks; and brothers, Burley and Wayne Arnold. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Wiley and Gracie (Boyd) Arnold; wife, Beatrice (West) Arnold; sister, Margie (Arnold) Joyce; and brother, Roger Arnold. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Victory Life Church, 1502 Rose Ave, New Haven, Indiana 46774 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana. Memorials in William's name may be made to Turning Point Apostolic Church of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
