William Stephen Davis

In Loving Memory of William Davis It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) S. Davis, who departed this world on October 9, 2023. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend to many, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. William was born on July 11, 1930, in Hammond, IN, a graduate of Carrick High School in Pittsburgh, PA and Indiana Tech. He served in the 101st Airborne. He was a professional land surveyor with Hofer and Davis Inc until his retirement in 1994. An avid golfer and bowler with many awards from The Elks County Club. He held the position of Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge #155 in Fort Wayne. He was proceeded in death by his wife Carolyn Davis. Surviving is his Son Michael William Davis, his Step Daughter Marsha Houser, four Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. His kindness touched the lives of many, and his absence will be deeply felt. In his memory, let us celebrate the life he lived. He will forever be missed and cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
