William R Gaunt, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 8, 2018. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, and proudly served his country in the Army during WWII and the Korean War. William was a proud husband, father, grandfather and Christian. He was also a builder, grower and maintainer, and always sought to improve in everything he did. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ina; sons, Wayne and Stan; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11am, Tuesday, February 13, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
