Alfredo Trujillo

Alfredo was born in Truchas, New Mexico September 11, 1930. He was one of 6 Children born to Antonio Trujillo and Sara Martinez. He met Amelia Trujillo in Red Cliff, Colorado and they were married in Leadville, Colorado on June 28, 1953.

Alfredo was enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1948 and was a veteran of the Korean War honored with *5 Bronze Stars. He was honored to have served his country and regarded himself as a proud patriot. Alfredo moved to Colorado where he worked in the mines and retired from Schmidt Construction. He was known for his kindness, generosity and love for dancing. His love for his family was beyond great and he worked hard to ensure they were taken cared for.

Alfredo is preceded in death by his wife Amelia Trujillo, son Raymond Trujillo, granddaughter Valerie Vigil, father Antonio Trujillo, mother Sara Martinez, sister Grace Sandoval, two brothers Antonio Trujillo and Rubel Trujillo.

Alfredo was survived by his daughters: Helen Romero, Diana Gove, and Brenda Trujillo. Brothers: Johnny Trujillo, Marcy (Ida) Trujillo and many nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Gail (Joe) Gonzalez, Amy (Justin) Goergen, Rosanna Romero, Jolene Zamora, LeAnn (Timothy) Duckworth, Cal T., Andrea Vigil. Great- grand children: Valantina (Traveion) Paillette, Emrick, Alexeya and Javin Goergen. Layla, Serena and Annalicia Martinez. Isabel and Olivia Gonzalez. Jaden Almanza and Caleb Duckworth. Great great- grandchildren Briar and Dutch Paillette.
