

Mr. Calhoun was born on October 26, 1932 in Chance Harbor, Canada.
By trade he was a painter, and loved to be a servant for his customers and show God’s love through his work. He loved being outside and his hobby of fishing, traveling, and had a strong sense of adventure. He had a great love for dogs, well, he loved cats also. His greatest passion was doing the work of the Lord. He had a heart for people. He showed God’s love through meeting the needs of people. He was a giver.
Proceeded in death by his wife, Jerry Calhoun. He is survived by his son John Calhoun and wife Pam of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, His daughter Anna Hess of Fountain, Colorado. Also survived by his step children, Alan Wagon, Robin Coran, Nadine Otto as well as Pastor Dan Barker. He loved all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Alvin will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Restored Hope Church, 623 Tia Juana St., Colorado Springs, Co 80909. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10:30 AM, 623 Tia Juana St., Colorado Springs, CO 80909. A committal service will occur Friday, March 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, 757 South Santa Fe Ave., Fountain, CO 80817.
