Amanda Julia Carter

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Donna J. Chase and Duane J. Carter. Her family returned to Fountain, Colorado when she was 9 months old. She attended Widefield District 3 schools, with a short stint at Fountain Fort Carson High School, and then returned to graduate from Mesa Ridge High School in 2011.

She will be remembered for her fierce love of her children, her kindness, humor, sense of adventure, love of family and friends, White Peach Red Bull, and her passion for her English Bulldogs Major, Mags, and Toast.

She is survived by her children: Aspen (13), Hudson (3) and Kora (9 months), her parents Donna J. Chase (Tom) and Duane J. Carter (Gaylene)

Other family members include: sister Autum Carter, brothers Paul Cater (Nikki), Caleb Carter, and Levi Carter, maternal grandparents Julius and Brigitte Juroska, aunts Tanya Mernard (Burt), Tatjana Tyndale (Chris), Monica Tucker, Barbara Palmer (Steve), Debbie Carter, Trene Carter, uncle Earl Carter (Karen), niece Holly, nephews Landyn, Jaxxon, Aiden, Evan, CJ, Levi, and many, many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Paul and Ingrid Carter.

Amanda’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12pm at Dove Witt Family Mortuary. Please wear shades of purple and blue, her favorite colors!
