Some souls come into this world and leave behind a love so deep, a light so beautiful, and memories so precious that even a lifetime could never erase them. Angelo James Ortiviz-Furst was one of those souls. His life was a blessing, his love was a gift, and his presence brought a special kind of happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his time on this earth was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever.
Angelo was blessed with a radiant smile that could light up any room and a heart of gold that reflected the beautiful person he was. He was kindhearted, loving, and sometimes a little shy, but those who knew him understood the warmth and goodness that lived within him. He had a competitive side that would shine through, especially when playing basketball or doing something he enjoyed. And no matter what life brought his way, Angelo was known for always having a smile. It was part of him that will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
Angelo enjoyed the simple things that made him happy. He loved collecting shoes, hats, and game consoles, watching movies, listening to music, and playing basketball every once in a while. These were the little things that made him uniquely Angelo. Whether he was enjoying his favorite music, watching a movie, spending time with loved ones, or simply being himself, he had a way of making ordinary moments into memories that will now be cherished for a lifetime.
Above all, Angelo was a family man, deeply loved and surrounded by people who meant the world to him.
His bond with his mother, Nickcole, was unbreakable. Their connection was a love that words could never fully explain, a bond that went beyond the ordinary and lived deep within their souls. She was his mother, his comfort, his safe place, and one of the greatest loves of his life. No matter how old he became, he would forever be her baby boy. There are no words to describe the heartbreak of a mother having to say goodbye to her son, and no amount of time could ever fill the space he leaves behind. But a mother’s love does not end with goodbye. Angelo will forever live in her heart, in her memories, in her prayers, and in every beat of her heart. Their bond was unbreakable in life, and not even death can ever break the love they share.
Angelo shared a special bond with his brother Santiago. When they were younger, the two were inseparable, spending countless hours together and sharing their love for basketball. Those childhood memories, the games, the laughter, and the brotherhood they built will forever remain treasured. No matter where life took them, they shared a connection that only brothers can understand. Santiago will forever carry the love and memories of his brother in his heart.
His relationship with his sister, Izabella, was a bittersweet but meaningful brother-and-sister bond, filled with the ups and downs, love, and moments that make sibling relationships so unique. With his sister Jazmyne, Angelo shared a special trust and connection. She was someone he could confide in at any time, someone he knew he could turn to. Each of his siblings held a special and irreplaceable place in his heart, and the love they shared will continue to live on through the memories they carry.
Angelo was blessed with a stepfather, Joel, who loved him like his own son. The love, care, and devotion Joel gave him were an important part of Angelo’s life and family. He also shared his life with stepsiblings, Adonis, and Sumayah, who were part of the family that surrounded him with love. Family is not only defined by blood, but by the love we give, the bonds we build, and the people who choose to stand beside us.
Angelo’s long-time girlfriend, Delecia, held a very special place in his heart. She was the person he spent much of his time with, sharing moments, laughter, companionship, and a love that was uniquely theirs. The time they spent together, the memories they created, and the love they shared will forever remain a beautiful part of Angelo’s story. Though his absence leaves an unimaginable emptiness, the memories of their time together will always be treasured.
Angelo also leaves behind his precious 2-year-old niece, Eustolia, his only niece, who will forever hold a special place in his family’s heart. Though she is still so young, the love between an uncle and his little niece is something truly special. Angelo’s memory will live on through her as she grows, and one day she will know just how much her uncle was loved and how deeply he will always be missed. She will forever carry a piece of her uncle Angelo in her heart.
Angelo was deeply loved by his grandparents, Dominic and Gloria Ortiviz, and Stephany Storum. He cherished his uncles and cousins and held his extended family close to his heart. He also shared a particularly special bond with his beloved Nino and Nina Anthony and Lorrie Olivas, who held a cherished place in his life. The love of his family was a blessing to Angelo, and the memories they shared with him will forever be a source of comfort and a reminder of how deeply he was loved.
The loss of Angelo leaves a heartbreak that words can never fully express. His absence will be felt in the quiet moments, in family gatherings, in the music he loved, in the movies he watched, and in every basketball game that brings back memories of him. It will be felt in the shoes and hats that remind us of his personality, in the laughter that echoes through old memories, and in the simple moments when someone wishes he were here to share them.
There will forever be an empty space where Angelo should be, a chair that feels too empty, a memory that brings tears to our eyes, and a love that has nowhere on earth to go but will forever remain in our hearts. His family will miss his radiant smile, his gentle and shy nature, his competitive spirit, his laughter, and all the little things that made him who he was.
Though Angelo’s earthly journey has come to an end, his story does not end here. The love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will continue to live on in everyone who knew him. His life mattered. His presence mattered. And he will never be forgotten.
To our beloved Angelo: you were loved more than words could ever express, more than you could have ever imagined, and more than this world could ever measure. You will forever be Mommy’s baby boy, your siblings’ beloved brother, your family’s precious Angelo, and Delecia’s cherished love. We wish we could have more time, more conversations, more laughter, and more ordinary days with you. But we will hold on to every memory, every smile, and every moment we were blessed to share.
Until we meet again, may you rest peacefully, free from pain and surrounded by eternal love. Watch over your family and know that you will forever be carried in our hearts. Your smile will never date from our memories, your life will never leave our souls, and your place in our family will never be filled.
You were here for a moment, but you will be loved for a lifetime.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Angelo.
Rest peacefully, our sweet angel. Until we meet again.
