Charles (Charlie) John Short was born in St. Clair, PA and lived in Colorado Springs for 45 years.
He met Helen Joan (Davee) in Joplin, MO and they were married 57 years.
Charlie attended Penn State University where he graduated in 1954 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
He worked for Eagle Picher Industries for over 32 years where he retired. After retiring he started up his own consulting business. His hobbies included Penn State football, Ham Radio and Chess. He was a long time member of St Raphael's Church where he was in the choir and served on the Vestry.
He is survived by his wife Joan and three children Charles (Karen ) Short, Diana (Troy) Glide, and Brenda (Steve) Malmberg. Grandchildren Shanleigh, Tom, Paul and Steve
Visitation will be held on April 22 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Dove Witt Mortuary and the Funeral service will be on April 23 at 3:00 pm St. Raphael,s in Security, CO
