Craig F. Daniels, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in San Bernardino, California, August 21, 1948, the first of five children born to the late Charles Daniels and Madonna Denning.
Craig graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1967. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his tour in Hawaii, he met his wife of 48 years. After serving his four years of service, he enlisted in the United States Army. Throughout his service, he was given the opportunity to visit many parts of the world. He enjoyed traveling, and he ensured that the family took yearly vacations to visit friends and family.
Family and friends were extremely important in his life. Holidays were a great time for him to dote on his grandsons who affectionately called him Papa. He loved fishing and watching vintage Western movies.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, devoted wife, Dolorina Daniels; loving children, the late Michael Daniels, who preceded him in death, and his daughter, Melisa (Kevin) Miller of San Antonio, Texas; precious grandsons, Gavin and Noah; sibling Cheryl Goins; brother-in-law Paul Goins; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 South US 85-87, Fountain. A celebration of Life is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 US-85, Colorado Springs. There will be a reception following the services at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary.
