Born on June 20, 1958, David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Peterson; his children, Alisha and David Jr., Timothy and Tabitha, Jacqueline and Benjamin; and his grandchildren, David, Katelyn, Thorin, Jason, Ruby, Timothy II, Jacxx, Vincent, Naya, Gerald Jr., Lillian, Joe, Heidi, Daylin, Sebastian, and Wade. He is also survived by his twin brother, Daniel Peterson, and sister-in-law, Shirley Peterson, add brother Tom Elliott and sister Sharon Struthers.
David will be remembered for his strength, his wit, talent, and the deep love he gave to his family. A memorial service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
