Oh my gosh.  I did not know Diane had passed on.  I tried to call her before I left for two weeks in Las Vegas and didn't get an answer, but that wasn't too unusual.  When I tried calling her when I returned from the NFR I found her phone disconnected.  Then I looked on line and saw her obit.  I am so, so sorry.  Last message she left me she had gone to the antiques show in Denver and had a great time.  We had known each other for years and years and I was also friends with her Mom.  I always loved seeing them together and walking through my antique shop together.  Diane had Christmas dinner with my family last year.  I am sad to tell them that Diane is gone, but happy that her pain is also gone.  She had a strong faith in God and I imagine the reunion with her Mom and Dad was joyous.  I would have certainly been at her service if I had been in town....I was excited to tell her my experiences at the NFR.  She loved her horses, her truck, and her cat.  I will miss her very much. Diane, I love and miss you. I am so glad we spent a lot of time together in the 11 years I lived in Colorado. I am glad you and your mom were there for the birth of my girls and that you were a part of their lives growing up. May you find peace again with your mom and dad,  I will keep you in my thoughts. 

         I met Diane at Memorial Hospital .  I was in training in the Medical Records Department where She had worked for a few years ahead of Me so it was nice to get help from her when I felt Lost.. She always made it seem so easy even though I felt helpless.. If not for her help, I might not have survived! I will always remember her and I will Truly Miss her. 
God and his Angels will take good care of you now Diane .

Diane  and I went through school together.  She alway had a smile and great wit.  She teated me with such kindness.  I moved away from Fountain  many years ago, however I have such fond memories of our high school years together. 

My beautiful....sincere and loving girl...….I will miss you so much......I know there is a heaven out there and you are with your loving parents......God speed......love you cousin!

Diane you were a wonderful cousin. We grew so close over these past two years and especially since Aunt Alice passed away. You were very brave and fought a noble fight. I believe you are now in the arms of your parents, playing with your cats  and horses. Please give my mom and dad a hug for me. Rest in peace. Love,  Cousin Susan

Diane and I  shared an office together at Memorial Hospital  ( UCHealth ) for almost 15 years until she retired. , I was so shocked and sad to hear the news of her passing.  We were friends on Facebook and she loved sharing pictures of her horses,  I will always have fond memories of  you Diane.  You were such a good person with so much to give.   RIP my dear friend  "The most painful Goodbyes are the ones that are never said and never explained. "

I grew up in Rangeview (housing area) and the Knapp family lived in the Bricks. 
 Our family were friends. Diane stopped in to visit with me a couple of years ago and it was like no time had past since we had last seen each other. She knew everything going on in Fountain and she even bought some antiques from me.

I saw Diane a couple of years ago, and it was just like old times. Diane was a friend for life kind of girl. Many will miss you.

Diane, I can see you joyfully reunited with your beloved mother and horses.  I hope you are happily trotting on horseback through heaven!

It has been a blessing to know Diane since 1960 when we became next door neighbors. Through the years, we have remained friends and enjoyed many letters, cards, phone calls, and visits. I am so very grateful that we were able to visit Diane in late May and early June. She was a unique treasure and faithful friend.
