Evelyn Larsen, 74, passed away on October 9, 2025 in Colorado Springs. She was the wife of David P. Micklish; they shared 15 years of marriage together. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of Charles A. Swindall and Pauline J. Swindall. She graduated from Madison High School. Evelyn worked at Viejas Casino as a cage cashier for 22 years.
Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids. She will be remembered for being unapologetically herself: genuine, bold, and free spirited.
Evelyn is survived by her son Lenn Larsen; her grandchildren Jillyan Lawrence, Sherryl Rogue, and David Larsen; great-grandchildren Meshei, Raylene, Wyatt, Evelyn, Levi, Logan, and Daisy; and additional family members Jimmy Ferguson, Bobby Ferguson, Mark Munson, Dawn Chaplin, and her dog Tiny Dog.
She was preceded in passing by her parents Charles and Pauline Swindall, her husband David Micklish, and siblings Patty Ferguson and Donald Swindall.
