The songs are silenced. The music stopped. Family and friends of Gary Lee Daigle must now carry in their hearts and memories all the beautiful guitar music Gary enlivened so many gatherings with over the years. Born in Denver, Colorado on December 12, 1952, son of Donna Hemfeld Daigle and Gailon Daigle, Gary grew up and always loved Colorado. He attended Palmer High School. A proud Navy Reserve Seabee, he served in Guam during Vietnam. Gary was a roofer, drywaller, remodeler, as well as a long-time truck driver, retiring from Transit Mix Concrete in 2009. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially watching his beloved Broncos play football. Self-taught during his Navy days, his guitar was his passion. He and Diana, his wife of almost 49 years, enjoyed RVing throughout the East Coast and Southwest. During this journey, he recorded his songs in a studio on Music Row in Nashville, TN. His extraordinary cooking talent will be sorely missed. Besides his wife, he leaves behind four children of whom he was very proud: Leslie, Skyler, Tiffany, and Rebecca, as well as eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. After cremation, military service and scattering of his ashes will take place sometime in late July. Dove Witt Family Mortuary of Fountain, CO. can be contacted at that time for details.
Rest in Peace My Dear Husband, My Love.
PS Enjoy a beer in his name!
