During this time, the military tugged at his heart and he enlisted in the Air Force, specializing in law enforcement. The rest of his career entailed various opportunities in specialized protection. Gary will be remembered for his lively spirit, awful jokes, unique sense of humor, love of music, love of food, love of people, but more importantly, his love for God. He always said he prayed he was worth of Jesus's sacrifice.
