

Glenda Lee Schneider, 82, was holding her Savior’s hand, Jesus, as the angels came to lovingly escort her to her heavenly home on May 16th, 2026. She was at her home in Booneville, MS, where she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Sondra Nanney, and son-in-law, Jamie Nanney, for the past year and a half. Before she moved to Mississippi, she was affectionally cared for by her daughter, Suzette Thomas and her Best Friend Liz Pinion. She was born in Dubuque, Iowa, and eventually made her way to Colorado. She was a devoted Catholic, mother, and homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, doing every art and craft that ever existed, as well as country dancing and karaoke. She will always remain in our hearts and minds.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday, May 29th, 2026, at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary with son-in-law Jamie Nanney officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 with funeral service directly after. Both located at 6630 S. US Highway 85-87, Fountain, CO 80817.
Burial to follow at Kendrick Cemetery, Shear Road 47297, Rush, CO. This is a one-hour drive for anyone wishing to attend.
Glenda is survived by two daughters, Sondra Nanney (Jamie Nanney) and Suzette Thomas; son, Shawn Stafford (Symantha Stafford); nine grandkids Cheyenne Nanney Stokes (Stevie), Jacob, Maxwell, and Chloe Thomas, Blake, Rylynn, Aliyah, Jazlyn Stafford, Olivia Trujillo (Sergio) ; two great grandchildren Sergio and Marilyn Trujillo; brother, Dennis O’Rourke (Gail); sister-in-law, Sally O'Rourke; and stepdaughter, Tari Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Schneider; her son, Lonnie Stafford Jr.; her son-in-law, Richard Thomas; her grandson, Dakota Nanney; Great Grand Silas Stokes; her parents, John O’Rourke & Mary O'Rourke; her sister, Patti Taylor; her brother, Gary O'Rourke; her niece, Kelly O’Rourke; her nephew, Mike O'Rourke; and her stepson, Mick Schneider.
Pallbearers are son Shawn Stafford, son-in-law Jamie Nanney, grandson Jacob Thomas, nephew Christopher Taylor, nephew Ryan O’Rourke and dear friends Kenny Pinion and Marvin Kunau.
