

Glenn Franklin Turner, 76 died November 15, 2011. Glenn was born on March 11, 1935 in Statesville NC to Marvin and Connie Turner. He married Salome Asteria Languit on January 9, 1960 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Together they had four children.
He proudly served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1975 and retired as a 1st Sergeant assigned at Fort Carson.
Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid reader, he loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Glenn will be missed very much.
He is survived by his wife Salome (Sal), three daughters and a
daughter-in-law: Marie Smith of Calhan CO, Paula Peabody of New Prague MN, Carol Carson of Colorado Springs CO and Amanda Turner also of Colorado Springs CO. Six grandchildren: Lindsey Turner, Zack Mercier, Noelle Turner, Thomas Turner, Jacelyn Peabody, Johannes Elliot and one great-grandchild Rylin Moberly. He is also survived by five sisters: Hazel Eidson of South Carolina, Ruby Josey, Joyce Herman, Alice Brotherton, and Carol Dryder, all of North Carolina.
Glenn is preceded in death by his son, Glenn Jr., a brother Arnold Turner and his parents Marvin and Connie Turner.
Visitation will be held on November 21, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dove Witt Funeral Home, followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. His funeral will be held on November 23, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at St Dominic's Catholic Church, reception will follow. Glenn's ashes will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
