Jacqueline Fern Cowan

Born in Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of William and Ruth Axtell. She graduated from Mitchell High School and worked as a CNA for Pikes Peak Manor and Silver Key. Jacqueline’s caring nature led her to leave the medical industry and stay home to care for her family. She attended Fellowship of the Rockies Church, and enjoyed watching Reba, going for drives, and spending time with her family.

Jacqueline is survived by her mother Ruth Axtell; her son Jason Cowan; son-in-law Scott Heil; her loyal dogs Akila, Rockie, and Benji, and loving cats Simba, Kiara, and Bella.

She was preceded in passing by her husband Richard Cowan; daughter Christina Cowan; father William Axtell; brother Greg Axtell; and dogs Rusty, Sunny and Festas.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 5 from 2-5pm at Dove Witt Family Mortuary. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 6 at 1pm at Fellowship of the Rockies. Jacqueline will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
