Dear Louise and Gil, I don't know if you'll see this post but I felt moved to write. Our sons knew each other...Kellen Sams also skied cb, was a mutual friend of Mark Robbins, and loved every bit of the adventures that life had to offer. Kellen died 2-11-2010 in an avalanche while back country skiing in CO's San Juan Mts.  The reason I'm writing is I know how painful anniversaries are and how excruciating losing our lovely boys is. Hello Louise and Gil,

I'm so sorry for your loss!  It sounds like Jeremy enjoyed every moment of his life.  My thoughts are with you!

I am incredibly sorry to hear about the loss of Jeremy. While it has been many years since I last saw him, he left an impact on my life. I was a swimmer at the YMCA in New Bedford when Jeremy coached there. I will never forget his free spirit, dedication to all he coached, and his green hair for our championship meets! He showed me perseverance and dedication. Your family is in my prayers.

We loved your son! 
A friend of our daughter Joanna, Jeremy filled our hearts the moment we met him! We have many fond memories of that slice of time with Jeremy's visits to So Cal.  Jeremy was a surprise package. So many wonderful qualities rolled into one.

Condolences to the family, and to everyone who was fortunate enough to share in Jeremy's life.   He was a great friend, a good man, and a true individual.

Jeremy was one of my first swimmers when I coached...and his smile and the sparks of joy he exuded are as clear in my mind as if it were yesterday. Jeremy was one of the most incredible people I have been blessed to have in my life.  He was my best ski buddy while we both lived in Crested Butte and worked for the ski school.  No one was more fun to ski with than Jeremy - his pure LOVE for the sport was contagious.  Even in the worst ski conditions, Jeremy was having a BLAST and if you were with him, so were you.  I also remember Jeremy as a very kind, sensitive and understanding person who I could share my thoughts and feelings freely with.  Jeremy lived life to the fullest and was a great role model for anyone who truly got to know him.  He had the "punk" look and loved punk music, and although some may not understand this, he was "punk" in the sense of rebelling against the system and living the life he loved.  I give thanks for all the great memories I have with Jeremy and I know his spirit will live on forever.  I also would like to send my condolences, love and respect to his family - you raised an amazing man who touched the life of many through his passion for life.
