Johanna Noel

Johanna Noel, lovingly known as Oma to many of her family and friends, passed away at age 85 on August 4, 2025, in Fountain, Colorado. Born in Germany, Johanna eventually found her home in Fountain, Colorado and worked dedicatedly for many years as an Atmel custodian. Oma found joy in life's simple pleasures—crocheting, gardening, painting, puzzles, playing games, spending time with animals, enjoying sweets, relaxing with an ice-cold beer, and most of all, being with her family and friends. Also, she held a strong faith and deep love for God. She will forever be remembered for her strength, independence, bravery, stubbornness, funny sense of humor, generosity, hard work ethic, and the way she loved people so well. Johanna is survived by her three children: Frank, Thomas, and Kathy; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She also has many beloved family members residing in Germany. Her personality is one which will not be forgotten because of her feisty spirit and caring soul. She is now resting peacefully in heaven and those who knew Johanna will forever cherish precious memories of her. Her funeral service will be held on August 15th, 2025, at 3:00pm at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary in Fountain, CO. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to any Goodwill Store and Donation Center, as this was Oma’s favorite place to shop.
